Camp Brian 2012 Golf Tournament Another Great Success!
Join us March 16th, 2013 for Spring Break at Camp Brian
Camp Brian celebrated its fourth annual benefit Golf Tournament on September 15, 2012. We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all of you who participated, sponsored, contributed and worked. We had over 100 golfers, 25 sponsors, 15 in kind gifts and 25 volunteers. Together we raised over $13,000 with all proceeds going to support individuals and families impacted by early onset Parkinson’s. The energy, care and concern expressed by all who participate is particularly meaningful to us and most importantly our organizations name sake, Brian Camp. The day is always fun and uplifting. Thank you for giving your time and financial support in order to make this event happen.
Each year, in addition to local grants, the Camp Brian Board selects one larger non-profit group, in which to make a grant of 10% of our annual fundraising proceeds. The recipient will have a larger reach than what we are capable of accomplishing with our grassroots effort. We select an organization that focuses on research, treatment, or education. This is our way of furthering the overall mission of Camp Brian. This year we had the great pleasure of granting the Speech Therapy Department at the Booth Gardner Parkinson’s Center $1,750 for use in their program. Thank you for making that possible.
We are looking forward to our next fundraiser, “Spring Break at Camp Brian” the annual dinner, dance and auction on Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at Archbishop Murphy High School in South Everett, 6:00 to 11:00 PM. This year we have LIVE music by The Silverbacks, a camper’s fare meal (read BBQ and smores) as well as our great silent and live auction items. Please see the fundraising tab for additional information and tickets. We hope you can join us for this fun event supporting a great cause.
We wish you, your companies and families a happy holiday season and prosperous 2013.
